To keep my inspiration close, I planted 2 Silver Princess Eucalyptus in my garden. These native trees are uniquely stunning. It's taken a couple of years, but finally one of the trees erupted with blossoms in a brilliant show of magenta.
I love the hidden beauty of these trees. After a huge rain shower, the tree looks so different. The ghostly white powder coat is striped bare and replaced with bold reds and pinks. It adds a whole other dimension of wonder. Each time I paint a Silver Princess, I aim to celebrate a different version of it, as it changes all the time. 'After The Rain' is for anyone who feels a connection to these beautiful Australian natives and enjoys their artwork bold!
After The Rain is available in 2 sizes as a fine art canvas print on the highest quality satin canvas. Canvas prints can arrived rolled, stretched, or stretched and finished with a floating frame in flooded gum.
